This department is responsible for managing power station shareholdings as well as commercial project development.

Commercial project development encompasses commercial concepts for investment projects including preparing and negotiating commercial contract content. For this purpose financial feasibility calculations and risk analysis are carried out and financing questions are dealt with. Furthermore, cross departmental internal Group and external support services (including legal and taxation advice) are coordinated.

The Controlling department is responsible for managing power station shareholdings and their operational budget control. For this purpose medium term plans are prepared and business development is analysed, forecasted and reports are prepared.
In doing so, shareholding managers and operational controllers supervise the involvement of the team and cooperate closely with colleagues from other departments. Furthermore, project controlling for power stations under construction as well as risk controlling for the EEP Group is also carried out.
