Myllykoski Plattling Combined Cycle Cogeneration Plant

In May 2008 a contract to build a combined cycle cogeneration plant in Plattling (Bavaria) and for cooperation in energy management was signed between EEP and the Myllykoski Group. EEP and its subsidiary Kraftwerk Plattling GmbH, which was founded to realise the project, have primary responsibility for all value added levels (development, construction and operation).

During normal operations the plant will produce 115 MW of electricity output and 200t/h of steam in combined heat and power generation.
The aim of the project is to optimise the energy supply for one of the largest paper production locations in Germany through close cooperation with the customer in the construction of its own generation capacity.

The power station has been put in into operation in April 2010.
